WHAT IS CHRONIC PAIN?
Typically any pain or discomfort that persists for an extended period of time, usually 6 months or longer. It can be the result of previous injury, disease, stress, or can manifest spontaneously.

We offer a variety of treatment options including alternative medical therapies for those who have failed traditional medical management and those who are presented with complex psychosocial issues.

Referral early in treatment in order to prevent later development of an excessively disabled lifestyle role |

REASONS FOR REFERRAL TO OUR FACILITY
The patient has not responded to primary or secondary stages of physical medicine/physical therapy treatment in a reasonable period of time (between 3 to 6 months)
The patient exhibits pain behavior that is limiting and/or mental/emotional dysfunction, which is disruptive to their activities of daily living to include work.
