Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion is the most common procedure for cervical radiculopathy. Radiculopathy is a description of a problem in which one or more nerves are affected and do not work properly. It restores alignment of the spine, maintains the space available for the nerve roots to leave the spine, and limits motion across the degenerated spine segment.

Extreme Lateral Interbody Fusion
Extreme lateral interbody fusion (XLIF) is a surgical procedure in which the front part of the lumbar spine is fused from the side. The surgeon makes an incision in the side between the lower ribs and the pelvis. Instruments pass through muscles and to the disc. Disc material is removed and a fusion graft is placed into the disc space. The graft is usually bone or a cage combined with bone.

Laminectomy
Laminectomy is a spine operation to remove the portion of the vertebral bone called the lamina. In the most minimal form small skin incisions are made, back muscles are pushed aside rather than cut, and the parts of the vertebra adjacent to the lamina are left intact. The traditional form of laminectomy (conventional laminectomy) excises much more than just the lamina; the entire posterior backbone is removed, along with overlying ligaments and muscles.

Lumbar Discectomy
A discectomy is a surgical procedure in which the herniated portion of an intervertebral disc, which is causing pain by bulging into the spinal cord or radiating nerves, is removed. A laminectomy is often involved to permit access to the intervertebral disc in a traditional discectomy. This can allow the physician better access. The goal of this procedure is to decrease pain and to allow for better movement and function.

Lumbar Spinal Fusion
Spinal fusion is a surgical technique used to combine two or more vertebrae. Supplementary bone tissue (either autograft or allograft) is used in conjunction with the body's natural osteoblastic processes. This procedure is used primarily to eliminate the pain caused by abnormal motion of the vertebrae by immobilizing the vertebrae themselves.

Pudendal Nerve Release
Pudendal Nerve Release is a procedure that treats Pudendal Nerve Entrapment (PNE.) PNE is a rare, but disabling problem. It causes severe, intense, throbbing pain in the pelvic floor (anywhere from the inferior buttocks, to the anus, to the genitalia). It is typically triggered by sitting and relieved by standing, although most patients are able to sit on a toilet seat without pain.
