LELAND A. WINSTON, M.D.
Leland Winston received his B.A. from Rice University before completing medical school at the University of Texas, Galveston. He performed his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas, Houston. Dr. Winston is licensed to practice in the state of Texas and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
TEACHING
Dr. Winston serves as a clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He is also the Head Team Physician for Rice University's Department of Athletics and is an NFL Players Association Consultant Team Physician.

Dr. Winston is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Park Plaza Hospital. Dr. Winston's professional memberships include the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Houston Orthopaedic Society, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
