JERRY N. STREET, M.D., P.A.
Jerry Street earned a B.S. degree from the Texas A&M University before graduating from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadephia. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency as Chief Resident in orthopedic surgery at The University of Texas Medical School, Hermann Hospital in Houston. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas.
APPROACH TO TREATING PATIENTS
Dr. Street’s mission, in the practice of Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, is to deliver the best possible care to his patients. Orthopedic Surgery is the specialty of Medicine that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of medical disorders of the musculoskeletal system (bones, muscles, and the tissues that connect them). The suggested treatment can be nonsurgical or surgical. He prefers to emphasize nonsurgical interventions whenever possible and medically appropriate. He spent time as a college student driving a wonderful family practioner on house calls. They would visit patients far from town in all settings. In addition this remarkable man allowed Dr. Street to accompany him on his hospital rounds. The family practioner’s philosophy is that medicine is a “calling”. Dr. Street believe as he does.

Dr. Street specializes in general orthopedics and treats conditions of the arm, elbow, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, hip, knee, low back, neck, shoulder and spine. The treatments that he specializes in include Arthritis, Arthroscopic Surgery, Deformity, Disability, Joint Replacement, Osteoporosis, Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Trauma/Fractures and Physical Therapy. He treats adults, pediatrics and teenagers.

Dr. Street has been recognized as one of the most recommended doctors in Houston by Houston Magazine’s “Houston’s Top Docs” as well as in the state of Texas by Texas Monthly “Texas Superdocs.” He has received many military achievements including Certificate of Appreciation, Community Based Warrior and Transition Unit. Dr. Street was also recognized by Consumer’s Research Council of America as one of America’s Top Physicians.
